BAND OF HORSES - CEASE TO BEGIN

This is the Seattle bands second album. A real Flaming Lips feel to it which is just great in my book. Really uplifting, with amazing tunes. Highly recommended.

THE HOLLOWAYS - SO THIS IS GREAT BRITAIN?

Many thanks to Dave for introducing me to this one. This is the debut from Londoners, The Holloways. Celebrating all that is British with tongue firmly in cheek. A thrilling mix of Brit-pop and punk.

THE RAVEONETTES - PRETTY IN BLACK

The second and most recent album from the Danish twosome. Really reminiscent of the great shoegazing bands of the early 90's, this album is truly classy.

They are playing a couple of dates in England next month so check them out. They are fantastic live;

BAT FOR LASHES - FUR AND GOLD

British band fronted by Natasha Khan. She has more than a touch of Bjork in her voice and range, brilliantly offset with wistful lyrics and great melodies.
